Rinaldo Rinaldi is an associate professor at the Faculty of Engineering at Florence University. He lectures in “Supply Chain Management”, “Industrial Production Management” and "Product Development”.

His areas of research and interest relate to the size of logistics systems, production control planning, process optimisation, and the implementation of sustainable approaches in supply chain management.

Rinaldo Rinaldi is a member of numerous research organisations. He has so far published over 50 articles in international journals and conference proceedings and has supervised a large number of dissertations on management, logistics and industrial topics.

He is founder and scientific director of “LogisLab", a "logistic process management and intelligence systems development lab”, where he conducts research into a large number of subjects, related in particular to the needs of businesses working within the fashion system.

Through LogisLab, he is also organiser and director of the annual “IT4Fashion” convention.
